White Horse Farm is ideally situated for anybody who wishes to explore Wessex and the surrounding area. There are literally hundreds of things to do within a reasonable distance. If you don't want to do anything, but just soak up the atmosphere, you can do that in peace without the hustle and bustle of town/city life.

Accommodation

Otter's Holt is a luxurious Wessex built Milbourne 4-star lodge cabin with three bed rooms and provides self-catering accommodation for six people (8 with the use of a quality sofa bed in the lounge). There is one double (en-suite) and two twin bedrooms. There is decked balcony, a large lounge and a well fitted out kitchen which is equipped with all the necessities you will need for a week or two away. Otters Holt is set to the side of the paddock, with its own good-sized private garden within a large grassed garden area with lovely country views".

The Barn Cottages; “Toad Hall” (sleeps 4), “Badger’s”, “Moley’s” & “Ratty’s” (all sleep 2) were formerly part of the old farm's outbuildings and are located in the old courtyard. They have been tastefully converted and retain much of their former features such as exposed stone walls and exposed beams, providing comfortable accommodation. They are all 3-star properties.

You will find woodland walks, fishing, lakes, horse-riding, golf and various museums including Thomas Hardy's cottage. For the more adventurous, you can go shooting, karting, quad biking or even Llama trekking! You can enjoy many delightful walks in the surrounding area and there are dozens of tourist attractions locally. If you wish to fish, walk, horse-ride or play golf, there are facilities within a short drive. Also, within easy travelling distance is the lovely Dorset coast and its world-famous Jurassic Coast. 

We have a fully equipped recreation room with table football,  loads of DVD’s  to borrow, books, indoor, outdoor games and much more. Recommended (Good Pub Guide) Inn within 150 yards. Our Finnish style Barbeque cabin has proved very popular to enable all weather family get togethers in Finnish style comfort.

We welcome well behaved and supervised dogs - no extra charge (for two or less). We have a large paddock which is fenced off and there are many lovely dog walking areas nearby. We have a number of walking books suitable for dogs which you can borrow. Other animals are welcome by arrangement.
